My pleasure.

Great fun. Moves at an express pace from the very beginning ("in media res" indeed!), the world-building is efficient, the description of the husband's deterioration is evocative and horrifying, and it leaves the reader nicely primed to want to understand more about this world, this character, and what's going to happen next. Very good.

Yay! I’m glad you like it! The entire book will be up for another month or so before I will need to take most of it down to start the self publishing process. So, feel free to read it while it’s still here. <3

Great intro! The worldbuilding and subject matter of this post makes me think there may be some heavy stuff / content warnings in future chapters.

A. Blodgett's avatar

No content warnings are listed, but you are right that there is some heavy stuff. I don’t go into unnecessary detail with the most difficult scenes.

One-leg Story teller's avatar

Great concept. There was actually a case where a woman sold poisons to women to kill off bad husbands. I cant remember the name but it was disguised as Perfume! I just finished Chapter 1 Cant wait to finish
